Death is Not the Answer Documentary Screening

Location: Penn Theatre, 760 Penniman Avenue, Plymouth

Plymouth-Canton Community Schools, in partnership with Livonia Save Our Youth and the Penn Theatre, invites you to a special community event to strengthen suicide prevention awareness and support. This will take place on Thursday, September 25, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Death is Not the Answer – an Emmy-nominated documentary explores the complex and often misunderstood world of depression and suicide. The film features insights from leading mental health experts and shares real stories from youth, adults, firefighters, first responders, police officers, and veterans.

It also offers uplifting perspectives on finding hope, contentment, and healing through mind-body wellness, nutrition, music, and community support.

P-CCS staff members, parents, and guardians are welcome to attend. High school students are welcome to join at their parents’ approval.

P-CCS teachers can earn SCECH for attending.

Concessions are available for a fee.
